Thammasat Photo Contest


Ready, set, shoot! (Attention to all PHOTO ENTHUSIASTS
Join Thammasat photography Contest and win the awards!!!

• Theme
"Your Impression about Thammasat"

• Contest Duration
Entries from now - October 29 (Thu), 2020, 5 PM.

• Who can join?
Thammasat International Students.

• Details of Submission:
1. Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of two entries only.
2. We will only accept entries submitted via email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
3. Entries to be submitted should include the following details:
3.1 Name, Faculty, Major, Year, Email Address, Contact number and Nationality.
3.2 Caption for the photo, shall convey your impression about Thammasat.
4. File name of photos should be pattern in this format: SURNAME_ENTRY NUMBER OF PHOTO Sample: CRUZ_1 or GRANT_2

• Photo Image/Requirements
1. Photos must be all original and only colored photos will be considered.
2. Photos must be in digital JPEG or JPG format, in high-resolution, 25MB maximum file size. (Recommended resolution: 3,000 pixels whether horizontal image or vertical image at 300 dpi.)
3. Photos must not be digitally altered (colorizing, toning, collage, photo composites, stitched panorama, high dynamic range HDR images, etc.) and/or enhanced in any way. Only simple cropping, minor adjustments in color, sharpness, contrast, or digital equivalents are allowed.
4. Watermarked photos and those that have been previously submitted or have won in any local or international photography contest will be disqualified.

• Prizes:
The top 3 entries will receive cash prize and certificate of appreciation
1st Prize – 2,500 Baht
2nd Prize – 1,500 Baht
3rd Prize – 1,000 Baht

• Selection of Winners
1. Pre-Screening: The Office of International Affairs (OIA) will pre-screen all the submitted entries to ensure that the contestants have complied with the prescribed guidelines and it has no violent content, nudity, or obscenity.
2. Announcement of Winners: Winners will be notified via e-mail and on Facebook : Thammasat International Students (https://www.facebook.com/groups/506055810234651). Winners will come to collect their prizes personally at Office of International Affairs, either Rangsit or Tha Prachan Campus.
3. By submitting photos for this contest; all rights and permissions will belong to OIA, which shall have the right to use, modify, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, or make derivative works of entry for promotional or any other purposes.

• Submission of Entries:
1. Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of 1 entry only.
2. Participants must submit their video clip or link to their upload on Youtube to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
3. We will only accept entries submitted via email. Those that will be submitted through other means will be automatically disqualified.
4. Entries to be submitted should include the following details:
4.1 Name, Faculty, Major, Year, Email Address, Contact number and Nationality.
5. File name of photos should be pattern in this format: SURNAME_NAME Sample: CRUZ_MAX
6. Deadline of submission of entries is on November 19, 2020, 5PM

• Video Requirements
- Time lenght 3 - 5 minutes.
- Should be in MP4
- Subject matter should be original, relevant to the category, and suitable for distribution.

- The best submissions will reflect your ability to express ideas and artfully convey a message how your impression on Thammasat University.

• Prizes:
The top 3 entries will receive cash prize and certificate of appreciation
1st Prize – 5,000 Baht
2nd Prize – 3,000 Baht
3rd Prize – 2,000 Baht

• Selection of Winners

2. Winners deliberation: The decision of the judges is final and not appealable.
3. Announcement of Winners: Winners will be notified via e-mail and on Facebook : Thammasat International Students (https://www.facebook.com/groups/506055810234651). Winners must come to collect their prizes personally at Office of International Affairs, either Rangsit or Tha Prachan Campus.
4. By submitting a video for this contest; all rights and permissions will belong to Office of International Affairs.
