13 November 2018 – Prof. Dr. Yoshihida Baba, President and executives from Soka University, Japan visited Thammasat University Tha Prachan campus and greeted by Rector Gasinee Witoonchat along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Supranee Lisawadi, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs and Executives from Faculty of Liberal arts.

Thammasat University has been in cordial collaboration with Soka University since 1985 at the both university level and the faculty level. This visit aimed to strengthen both universities relations and to discuss further cooperation. Rector Gasinee proposed that Thammasat University and Soka University will have joint research and academic seminar, including those on science and engineering.
