The MOU signing ceremony between Thammasat University and Nava Nakorn Public Co., Ltd., Ratch Group Public Co., Ltd and ALT Telecom Public Co., Ltd. and also between the Faculty of Architecture and Planning and Graduate School of Design, Harvard Universit

8 January 2020 – Rector Gasinee Witoonchart along with Vice Rector Kitti Prasirtsuk, Vice Rector Supasawad Chardchawarn, Dean, executives and staff from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning , met with Mr. Nipit Arunvongse Na Ayudhya, CEO/Managing Director, Nava Nakorn Public Co., Ltd. and executives from Ratch Group Public Co., Ltd. and ALT Telecom Public Co., Ltd. in the MOU signing ceremony. Under these collaborations, they will develop smart city projects for Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate - Pathum Thani area. The last session was LOI signing ceremony between the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat and Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University to jointly develop Studio regarding the area mentioned above for graduate students in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.

MOU signing between Thammasat University and Hokkaido University and Honorary Lecture

18 September 2019- Thammasat University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hokkaido University. Rector Gasinee Witoonchart and Prof. Emeritus Hiroshi KIDA, Head and Specially Invited Professor of Research Center for Zoonosis Control presided over the ceremony. We have Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, Dean Sasitorn Taptagaporn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norikaza ISODA, and executives from the Faculty of Public Health, were gathering in this event. In the afternoon, there was also Honorary Lecture “Are we prepared for pandemic influenza?” delivered by Prof. Emeritus Hiroshi KIDA and Special Lecture “Seasonal influenza evolution and antigenic drift” delivered by Prof. Dr. Prasert Auewarakul, Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University. The activities represent a part of the celebration on the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of Thammasat University. The whole event was moderated by Dr. Twisuk Punpeng, Deputy Dean for Administrative Affairs, Faculty of Public Health. There was a signing ceremony of the cotutelle agreement at the faculty level in Ph.D. programs in the next two days.
