The MOU signing ceremony between Thammasat Univiersity and Government Housing Bank

18 March 2019 – Thammasat University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government Housing Bank (GHB) to develop Senior Complex at Pattaya Campus in accordance with the government policy on senior society hospitality.

     The ceremony took place at Pridi Banomyong Meeting Room, Dome Building, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus. Rector Gasinee Witoonchart and Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, CEO of GHB, presided over the ceremony. This collaboration aimed to explore the possibility to build senior residence at Pattaya campus and to develop Senior Complex Project or Lakeside Premiere Complex Project for the Eastern Economic Corridor Medical Hub (EECmd) at Pattaya Campus.

     This MOU represents important cooperation between Thammasat and GHB to develop the senior residence and services at Pattaya campus in response to aging society in Thailand.

The MOU signing ceremony between Thammasat Univiersity and Sky ICT Public Company Limited

14 January 2019 – Thammasat University signed Collaborated Communication and Technology development MOU with Sky ICT Public Company Limited. The signing took place in the Sanya Dharmasakti Conference Room of the Dome Building at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan campus. Rector Gasinee Witoonchart said this TU and SKY ICT Public Company Limited collaboration will develop technology potential, and enhance academic and education quality which the company will provide workshop for students and staff, and also scholarship and internship at SKY ICT Public Company Limited and other leading companies.

Mr. Sithidej Mayalarp, Chief Executive Officer of SKY ICT Public Company Limited said that with the company approach and policy to develop Information Technology personnel, this collaboration is a fine start with Thammasat University, the leading university in Thailand, for Digital Technology Potential Development to support and explicate human resource including knowledge in various dimensions to become leading “Digital University”. Moreover, SKY ICT Public Company Limited also offered Thammasat University 50 million baht bounty for three years to expand in Technology Communication to become “Smart University”. Rector Gasinee said the bounty will be used for development of information technology systems in Thammasat University and also other projects; such as Smart Classroom, high speed internet, and cyber safety system; which will make faster, more convenience, and more modern student service system to reciprocate as Smart University.
