To flag a taxi : Try to avoid flagging the taxi around the bus stop or near the red lights because the taxi can't park in those areas.

Riding the taxi tips for foreigner :

- Make sure you know the place that you are going well, please try to search the location or ask your Thai friends about how to get there. Many taxi drivers, they can trick you by use the longest way.

- In the Taxi, there're 2 spots that you should remember well (or can take a picture), it's the taxi's license plate number on the floor of the passenger side in the back  and the driver's ID which will be shown at the passenger side in the front seat. This will help you to identify the taxi driver when there's something happen to you.

- For Women, try to sit at the back seat to avoid any harassment. And if the driver attempt to do something bad to you, get out from the taxi as soon as possible.
