Thammasat University, Tha Prachan
Thammasat University’s Tha Prachan campus, the university’s first, is located in the heart of Bangkok, near major tourist destinations such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and Khao San Road. Due to its compact size, there is no on-campus housing. However, many off-campus student apartment complexes are available nearby, offering individual leases, furnished units, and utilities included. The Office of International Affairs maintains a list of off-campus housing options to assist students in finding suitable accommodation.
Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus
Thammasat University’s largest campus offers a variety of accommodation options, both on and off-campus. The most well-known on-campus option is the ASEAN Games Dormitories in Zones B, C, and E, providing 2- and 4-bedroom units, sized at 35m2 and 70m2, respectively. In-room amenities include beds, bedside tables, writing desks, chairs, wardrobes, air-conditioning, water heaters, smoke detectors, ADSL phone lines at a special rate, 64-channel satellite TV, clothes airier, utility areas, sofas, 4-seat dining tables, refrigerators, and televisions. Outside the rooms, facilities such as microwave ovens, hot and cold-water dispensers, water purifiers, coin-operated laundry machines, free WiFi, CCTV and lifts are available.
The surrounding areas offer a range of facilities, including Tewson Canteen, the Inter Zone Building, convenience stores, bookstores, three nearby 7-Elevens, a computer repair shop, six reasonably priced laundry shops located in Buildings A2, B3, B7, C1, C5, and C10. Each building also has 3-4 coin-operated laundry machines and beverage vending machines. Nearby street markets and parks provide recreational opportunities for residents. Off Campus Apartments
We offer four room types:
- Studio and 1-Bedroom (up to 2 people)
- 2-Bedroom (up to 4 people – two queen beds)
All rooms are fully furnished and include:
- Bedroom: Bed platform, mattress, bedside drawers, dresser, stool & closets
- Bathroom: Shower panel with six massage jets, hot water & vanities
- Living area: Sofa, coffee table & 32” LCD flat-screen TV with satellite cable
- Dining area: Dining table & chairs
- Kitchen area: Microwave, electric stove, kitchen exhaust hood, refrigerator & cabinets

Sivalai Place is located in a quiet and secure residential area (Sivalai Villa), with easy access to:

- MRT Charan 13 (walking distance) MRT Isaraphab and BTS Wongwian Yai (15–30 mins by taxi)
Although we are not a serviced apartment, we’re committed to going the extra mile. We encourage students to explore, stay active, and join cultural trips or hikes we help organise.
