Health Center

Students at both the Tha Prachan and Rangsit Campuses have full access to university clinics which provide free-of-charge essential healthcare. Health Center offered are first-aid ,diagnosis and medical aid. Any students who needs hospital attention will be transferred to the Thammasat University Hospital at the Rangsit Campus  or to the Siriraj Hospital near the Tha Prachan Campus.

Viva City

Thammasat Counseling Services Center for Psychological and Mental Health Support for Students and Staffs

As stress from studies and university life becomes more challenging for students. Starting in 2019, Thammasat University established “Viva City: TU Counselling Center” to provide free mental health care and support for students and staffs who are suffering from psychological problems. The services include medical examination, organizing various activities that help in enhancing skills in handling mental problems, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, student advisors, and career counselors.

Viva City provides “Free Access” 24 hours counselling service through a call center. For in-person counselling service, it is provided during weekdays from 08:30 until 22:00 at a facility in student housing complex. With appointment, students can consult with a psychiatrist. Counselling in English is also available for international students in both campuses.

              TU student medical benefits (for common illnesses)

              Eligibility: All undergraduate students (TU student ID card must be presented)

              Where to access this medical service: At Thammasat University Hospital

              Health coverage:  Medical benefit of 5,000 Baht per each service.  Annual health benefits of 20,000   Baht per one academic year

                                             :  General dental care of 300 Baht per visit, maximum 3 times per academic year.

                                             :  Medication cost according to the National List of Essential Medicine; medical   examiner fees; standard hospital meal charge; and laboratory fees

            Thammasat Student Personal Accident Insurance

            Eligibility: Enrolled as a Thammasat student at all levels

            Insurance coverage : Medical treatment expenses resulting from each accident

                                                  : Capital benefits for accidents resulting in loss of life and organs

                                                  :  Funeral expenses caused by an illness

 

TU Law Center

The Student Affairs Division in collaboration with the TU Law Center is committed to providing free legal assistance and counseling to Thammasat students who experience physical assault, sexual harassment or violation of human rights and freedom, and to Thammasat staff who are threatened as a result of performing student discipline duties.
