27 January 2025 – The OIA, in collaboration with Pridi Banomyong International College (PBIC), organized a hands-on cooking class designed for participants with no prior experience in Thai cuisine. Nearly 50 international students eagerly joined the session to learn how to prepare a classic Thai-style omelet, Kai Jeow.
Following a warm welcome from the Dean of PBIC, the Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, introduced a creative twist to the traditional dish, making it more accessible for participants to recreate in their home countries. He also guided them through various ingredient variations that could be used to personalize their Kai Jeow.
The interactive workshop provided an enjoyable and immersive experience, allowing participants to savor their own creations in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. As they cooked and shared their dishes, they also exchanged cultural insights, fostering a deeper appreciation of culinary traditions across borders.
