On 19 May 2026, Thammasat University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayakrit Asvathitanont, Vice Rector for Human Resources, together with Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattanon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Adisorn Juntrasook, Dean of the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, welcomed Mr. Daniel Sheratte, International Partnerships Manager at Advance Higher Education (Advance HE), UK, for a meeting at the Office of International Affairs (OIA) on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.
During the meeting, Advance HE, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing higher education, introduced its role in supporting universities to enhance institutional performance, meet international standards, and strengthen global reputation. The representative also highlighted Advance HE’s collaboration with higher education institutions in promoting teaching excellence and professional development through the Professional Standards Framework (PSF).
The Thammasat delegation expressed its interest in adopting the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at the university, as well as pursuing Fellowship scheme accreditation to strengthen communities of practice among faculty and staff.
Both sides also explored opportunities for future collaboration in staff capacity building, the enhancement of teaching and learning practices, and the promotion of international professional recognition in higher education. Additionally, Advance HE invited Thammasat to become a member, offering benefits such as Fellowship fee waivers, access to professional resources and training, networking opportunities, scholarships, consultancy support, and other institutional development opportunities.
