On 17 March 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, warmly welcomed Ms. Julia Aughenbaugh, Associate Director of Global Programs from the College of Education at Lehigh University, USA. The meeting took place at the Office of International Affairs (OIA) on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus and focused on exploring further opportunities for joint academic programs.
During the visit, representatives from both institutions reviewed the 2024 summer program co-organized by Thammasat and Lehigh. The discussion included constructive feedback, highlighting key strengths as well as areas for improvement to enhance future collaboration.
To ensure the sustainability of their academic partnership, both parties also discussed plans for the upcoming June 2026 summer program. Key topics included course structure, logistical arrangements, visa regulations, facility management, health insurance, student orientation, and support services.
This visit marks a significant step in renewing and strengthening cooperation between the two universities with a share commitment to delivering meaningful, high-quality collaborative experiences for students in the June 2026 Summer Program.
