On 20 August 2025, Thammasat and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU), Germany, reaffirmed their long-standing commitment to academic collaboration during a meeting at the OIA on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, together with the OIA Coordinator for Europe, welcomed Ms. Barbara Habermann, M.A., Intercultural Qualification & LMU Exchange, during her official visit.
A key highlight of the meeting was the renewal of the strategic partnership between Thammasat and LMU, originally established through the Erasmus program. Both sides discussed updates to student exchange programs, including credit transfer mechanisms and visa application processes. They also explored new areas of cooperation, such as a Hybrid International Fair, joint workshops on sustainability and artificial intelligence, and guest lectures by LMU for Thammasat students.
