On 2 September 2025, Thammasat University and National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan, reaffirmed their long-standing partnership in higher education and research during a meeting at Thammasat’s Rangsit campus.

The NSYSU delegation also introduced the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program) which provides scholarships and internship opportunities for international students. In addition, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Thammasat highlighted its ongoing cooperation with NSYSU through a faculty-level 3+2 double degree program, noting that many of its outstanding students could benefit from opportunities offered under the INTENSE Program.
