On 15 August 2025, the Office of International Affairs at Thammasat University welcomed Ms. Premila Kanapathy, Director of the University of Leeds Southeast Asia Regional Office (Malaysia), for a productive meeting at the Tha Prachan campus.
Led by the OIA Director and the Coordinator for Europe, the discussions focused on potential faculty-level partnerships between Thammasat and Leeds. Key areas included joint academic programs such as 2+2, 4+1, and 4+1+2 models in the fields of Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Engineering, and Technology.
This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening long-term academic collaboration and research initiatives between the two institutions, expanding cooperation beyond university-wide agreements to the faculty-level.
