Thammasat and Utah State U. explore academic ties

On 11 May 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with the OIA Coordinator for the Americas, welcomed Dr. Jason Smith, Director of International Cooperative Academic Programs and Associate Professor of Finance, and a delegation from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University (USU), U.S.A. The meeting took place at Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus 

The discussion focused on establishing cooperative academic programs, including potential formats such as 4 + 0, 3 +1, and 2+2 bachelor’s degree pathways. USU representatives also introduced scholarship opportunities for Thammasat students in fields such as Finance, Economics, and Agribusiness, with support including a monthly stipend.   

This visit marks an initial step toward strengthening academic ties and fostering long-term collaboration between Thammasat and Utah State University.
