Korean International School Explores Further Cooperation

On 14 May 2026, Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattananon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, welcomed Ms. Jennifer Slusarek, Head of University Advising, together with Ms. Karen Lawler, University Advisor from Korean International School (KIS), Hong Kong, to the Office of International Affairs at Thammasat University Tha Prachan.  

During the meeting, the KIS delegation expressed strong interest in gaining deeper insight into Thammasat University, particularly its international programs, admission systems, and application procedures for prospective KIS students interested in studying in Thailand and at Thammasat. They also noted a growing trend among students choosing to study in Thailand, especially in fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, and Medicine. 

In response, Dr. Usanee provided an overview of Thammasat University and outlined its various admission channels, including faculty-based direct admissions and the Thammasat International Student Recruitment (TISR) platform administered by the Office of International Affairs. 

KIS representatives extended an invitation to Thammasat University to participate in the Education Fair scheduled for September 2026 in Hong Kong. The event, jointly organized by nine leading international schools in Hong Kong, aims to connect students with universities from around the world and promote international higher education opportunities.
