On 17 September 2026, Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattananon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, held a meeting at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, with Mr. Toa Lohe and Mr. David Hammond from The Independent Schools Foundation Academy (ISF), Hong Kong, representing the schools’ Guidance Counseling teams. The meeting was also attended by executives from the Thammasat Business School, Pridi Banomyong International College, and the College of Innovation.
During the meeting, Dr. Usanee presented an overview of Thammasat University, highlighting its academic strengths, international outlook, and diverse educational opportunities for students from around the world. Representatives from the participating faculties and colleges also introduced their international programs, academic disciplines, fields of study, and key opportunities available to prospective students from Hong Kong who are interested in pursuing higher education in Thailand.
The two institutions exchanged information on student admissions and recruitment, as well as the evolving educational interests and aspirations of students from Hong Kong. Discussions also explored ways to promote Thammasat University’s international programs and enhance opportunities for Hong Kong students to pursue higher education at Thammasat.
The meeting marked an important first step toward building educational connections between Thammasat University and the Hong Kong school community. It paved the way for future engagement in international educational opportunities for students.
