On 21 February 2025, the Office of International Affairs at Thammasat University hosted Dr. Alvado Artgas, Associate Researcher at the Centre d’Études Européennes, Sciences Po Paris, for a productive meeting at the Tha Prachan campus. The meeting, led by the OIA Director and the Coordinator for Europe, aimed to discuss potential collaborative research initiatives between Thammasat University and Sciences Po Paris.
The main focus of the discussions was on cross-disciplinary research opportunities in the fields of Social Sciences, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change. Both institutions expressed strong interest in forging a partnership that could contribute to advancing global knowledge on these critical issues.
Dr. Artgas also expressed his intention to arrange a follow-up discussion in June 2025, centered on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a broader exploration of topics within Political Science, Social Administration and Sociology, and Anthropology. This upcoming dialogue aims to deepen the collaboration and expand the scope of academic exchange between the two institutions.
Prof. Kim briefly introduced Hannam’s international exchanges to Thammasat. Both sides then discussed potential cooperation in exchange programs and international education.
This visit significantly marks the further strengthening of mutual educational bonds between the two institutions.
