On 21 October 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with representatives from the Faculty of Economics and the OIA Coordinator for the AIMS / TISR Programs, welcomed Dr. Nik Mohd Azim Nik Ab Malik, Senior Lecturer, and executives from Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), during their visit to Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.
Currently, the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Economics and Management at UKM cooperate at the faculty-level on dual degree and short programs. During the meeting, both sides reviewed their ongoing and successful cooperation under the ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) programme and explored new academic initiatives.
The UKM delegates proposed expanding collaboration beyond the current faculty-level framework to include cross-faculty collaboration at Thammasat. In particular, they expressed interest in developing joint initiatives related to the Halal Economy and collaborative research studies in Thailand.
