On 27 October 2025, Thammasat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with OIA staff, welcomed representatives from the Institute of International Education (IIE) and executives from 11 leading US universities — members of the International Academic Partnership Thailand (IAPP Thailand) —during their visit to the Sustainability Command Center at the Puey Ungphakorn Centenary Hall, Rangsit campus.
After a warm welcome speech from the Vice Rector, Dr. Supreedee delivered an engaging presentation on Thammasat University, highlighting its internationalization vision, international programs, key statistics, and student activities. All participants exchanged ideas and insights on global academic partnerships and to explore potential areas for future collaboration in academic programs, student and faculty exchanges, and joint research initiatives.
Following the meeting, the US delegation was given guided tours of Thammasat’s state-of-the-art STEM facilities, organized by the OIA. The tour featured visits to Food Innopolis Thammasat University at the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Center of Excellence in Creative Engineering Design and Development (CED2) at the Thammasat Engineering School, and the TDS Design Robotic Arm project at Thammasat Design School.
This visit marks an important step in fostering academic ties between Thammasat and US Universities. These initiatives will help lay a strong foundation for deepening long-term collaboration in education, research, and innovation.
