Thammasat participates in “APAIE 2025” in New Delhi, India

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Thammasat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, together with the OIA Director and Asia Coordinator, participated in the annual APAIE Conference and Exhibition held from 24-28 March 2025 in Dwarka, New Delhi, India. Themed “Cultivating Global Citizens for the Future: The Higher Education Imperative in the Asia Pacific and Beyond”, the event gathered international education leaders to explore collaborative pathways and strengthen global engagement in higher education.

APAIE 2025 featured a dynamic lineup of workshops, panel discussions, networking events, and educational exhibitions. Throughout the week, Thammasat representatives hosted a booth to reconnect with long-standing partners and welcome new prospective collaborators. Discussions focused on expanding existing partnerships through innovative academic initiatives, including international programs and exchange opportunities, while also exploring new cooperation prospects across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

A highlight of the event was the Closing Plenary on 27 March, where participants came together to reflect on the insights and experiences gained throughout the week in Delhi. The session concluded with an invitation to next year’s APAIE Conference and Exhibition in Hong Kong.

Adding to the enriching experience, attendees were invited to an exclusive campus tour of O.P. Jindal Global University, the host institution of APAIE 2025. The tour offered a look at the university’s facilities, including the Constitution Museum, sports complex, cafeteria, academic buildings, and other significant areas of interest.
