Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, and the OIA Coordinator for Asia welcomed Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Nguyen Mai Dang, Dean of the School of International Education at Thuyloi University in Vietnam, during their visit to Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus on 22 October 2024.
During the meeting, the Thuyloi delegation shared details about their current undergraduate and graduate programs, with an emphasis on their distinguished engineering fields, including Civil, Water Resources, Chemical, and Environmental Engineering, among others. Thammasat representatives reciprocated by presenting an overview of Thammasat University and its academic strengths.
The Thuyloi delegates expressed strong interest in exploring collaborative opportunities with Thammasat, particularly through joint research initiatives. They discussed the possibility of expanding academic partnerships at the faculty level with the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT). Additionally, the Thuyloi representatives extended a warm invitation to the Thammasat delegation to visit their campus in November 2024, as part of celebrations marking Thuyloi University’s 65th anniversary.
The visit concluded with a tour of the engineering laboratories at SIIT, where Thuyloi delegates gained insights into Thammasat’s research facilities and capabilities.
