Due to the recent earthquake that struck in Myanmar and Northern Thailand on March 28th around 2pm, this evidence has affected many areas across Thailand. To ensure Thammasat community’s safety, Thammasat university is issuing the measure to conduct academic activities affecting now until this coming weekend.
1. Everyone remain calm, and must evacuate buildings immediately to open area, or under safe shelter. Do not return inside buildings.
2. It is advised that everyone must leave the university premise and return home, if having no other necessary duties to do.
3. If anyone feel unsafe to go back home, you may stay in Thammasat area, but be sure to stay in open area, such as Ratsadon open field or sport fields.
4. All Friday afternoon classes will be cancelled unconditionally. In any classes that are not cancelled, students are free to leave and will not be considered as absence.
5. Cancelled classes are requested to do makeup via online teaching this weekend, so that classrooms will be inspected for damages, if any. Students may contact your faculty or programs for the makeup class arrangement.
This measure is in effect for all 4 centers. Thammasat university pays serious concern to community’s safety as priority. Please follow measures strictly.
